"Panj" is an app I developed as part of my final project in Creative Direction for Fashion. Inspired by the desire of Sikhs to see themselves represented as creatives.
As part of this project, I also created "dil-jit-al", Sikh digital influencer, born out of a necessity to see the Sikh voice represented as the digital evolution is taking place. To avoid a lack of representation of Sikhs as fashion goes increasingly digital, other Sikh youth and I found it imperative for a voice to represent them in this space.
This project was featured as part of the School of Media and Communication's dedicated website exhibition SMC REAL:TIME, one of 10 projects chosen from the School of Media and Communication. It was also displayed in the LCF's window display at Foubert's Place.
