This project, the title of which was inspired by children's band The Wiggles' popular song, explores grotesque beauty, and how the human body, as well as fruits, can be seen as both enticing yet repulsive.
The initial Idea largely came from my work with my mother who is a food photographer, and how she makes food look appealing. I wanted to employ the opposite effect, and hence after research and experimentations, I resulted in the comparison to the human body and how it can look repulsive.
The in-progress final output of this series is delivered as a book with large, in-your-face double page spreads.
